Grizzly Parrot Trading respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, why we use it, and which service providers process it for us.

Information We Collect
You can read the site without creating an account. When you visit, our hosting, security, and analytics services may process standard technical information such as:
- IP address and approximate location
- Browser, device, and operating-system information
- Pages viewed, referring pages, and interaction events
- Cookie or similar measurement identifiers
If you buy a paperback or hardcover, we also collect the information needed to calculate shipping, accept payment, fulfill the order, and provide support: your name, email address, shipping address, phone number, selected book, shipping service, and order status.
How We Use Information
- Operate, secure, and improve the website
- Measure readership, advertising, and affiliate-link performance
- Calculate live shipping prices and validate delivery addresses
- Process print-book payments, printing, shipping, and order updates
- Respond to support requests, prevent fraud, and meet legal, accounting, and tax obligations
Payment and Fulfillment Providers
We use service providers to operate print-book sales. They receive only the information needed for their role:
- Stripe processes checkout and payment. Grizzly Parrot Trading does not receive or store your full card number.
- Lulu receives the book files and delivery information needed to print and ship your paperback or hardcover.
- Cloudflare hosts the fulfillment service and stores private print assets, short-lived shipping quotes, and order records.
- Resend processes the email address and message content needed to send order and shipping notices.
These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies.
Cookies and Measurement
Google Analytics and Microsoft Advertising UET may use cookies or similar browser technologies to measure visits, site performance, conversions, and advertising results. Your browser controls can be used to block or remove these technologies, although some site measurements may then be unavailable.
Affiliate Link Measurement
When a clearly identified affiliate link is clicked, the site may send Google Analytics a measurement event containing the page, call-to-action location, destination, broad acquisition channel, and coarse device category. The event does not include a name, email address, payment information, trading records, or account credentials.
The site uses session storage to preserve only a broad acquisition label while the browser tab session remains open. An affiliate provider may set its own attribution cookie after a visitor leaves this site; that provider's privacy and cookie policies then apply.
Retention
Shipping-quote records expire after 30 minutes and are removed automatically by scheduled cleanup. Order records are retained as reasonably necessary for fulfillment, customer support, fraud prevention, accounting, legal, and tax purposes. Analytics providers retain measurement data according to their configured settings and policies.
Data Sharing and Sale
We do not sell personal information for money. We share information with the providers described above, when required by law, or when reasonably necessary to protect the website, our customers, or our legal rights. Analytics and advertising measurement may be treated as "sharing" or targeted advertising under some privacy laws.
